The only type of mediation I have heard of is couple therapy. I have never been directly involved in any meditation session before so I don't know if there are any success stories associated with mediation. I guess the closest type I can relate to in "manager to subordinate" review, however that didn't work out well either because in the end the member still chose to quit and join another team.

When the situation is already so bleak, will counselling help? Perhaps, both parties will agree to recoiling on surface but does that mean that the issue is fully resolved and that things can go back to the way they were? I hardly think so. The analogy that comes to my mind is "Mending a broken mirror": No matter how you patch it, the cracks will always be visible.

The sad thing is that, this time round, it doesn't hurt so much anyway.
